Biography

Shunsuke YOSHIDA is a researcher in the Media Information Science Laboratories, ATR. He received his BS and MS in Information Science form Chukyo University in 1996 and 1998. He received his PhD in Human Informatics from Nagoya University in 2001. He joined the Multimedia Ambiance Communication Project of Telecommunications Advancement Organization of Japan in 2001. He has been a researcher in ATR since 2002. He also hold the post of a researcher in NICT since 2006.

His work focuses on interfaces for interacting with virtual environments and the creation of immersive environments from natural scenery images. His research interests include the application of real-time graphics to practical use.
